Human rights obligation. Actions an employer must take to enable a worker with a disability to perform their job duties. These actions include adjusting rules, policies, and practices to enable their full participation. Adding a wheelchair ramp to make the workplace accessible is an example of an accommodation.
Virtual. Electronic meetings are meetings where individuals use technology platforms to participate virtually in the meeting without being present in-person. Examples include: Zoom, internet video calls, and other methods of communication that allow all members to fully participate in the business of the meeting. Email does not allow for full participation.
Digital communication. Messages sent by any electronic means such as email, text, instant message, and tweet.
