About Law For Non-Profits
Law For Non-Profits is a program started by the Pacific Legal Education & Outreach Society (PLEO), an organization that has been providing legal information and education to the non-profit sector since 2005.
Our Mission
Law for Non Profits strives to empower non-profits in Canada to access justice efficiently, effectively and equitably. PLEO works to shift the paradigm in how non-profits experience the law, and to identify and fill gaps in legal services and support for racialized, Indigenous, and historically marginalized communities across Canada.
Our Work
Law For Non-Profits offers free tools and resources to help non-profits maintain compliance and supply the information needed to prevent a legal issue before it happens. This includes free self-serve Legal Help Guides, sample documents, legal clinics, online events and webinars.
